On the Los Angeles Kings …
Jon Rosen: The LA Kings announced yesterday the following medical procedures.
Tyler Toffoli – had minor surgery on his left knee and is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
Derek Forbort – had minor surgery on his knee and is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
Alec Martinez – had minor surgery for a chronic issue he had with his groin and is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
Marian Gaborik – had a more in depth surgery on his left knee and is questionable for the start of training camp.
On the San Jose Sharks …
Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area: Forward Logan Couture said that to go along with his damaged teeth he had some facial fractures – upper lip to nasal area and another under his bottom row of teeth.
“There’s going to be some implants to get the teeth fixed,” he said. “Hopefully get it done in the next few weeks, and then I’ll head back to Canada.”
Forward Joe Thornton had successful knee surgery on Monday and is expected to be ready for the start of the season. Source saying there was more damage to his MCL than his ACL.
On the Minnesota Wild …
Minnesota Wild: GM Chuck Fletcher said that Mikael Granlund had been playing with a broken hand. It’s expected to take four to six weeks of recovery.
Minnesota Wild: Fletcher on Eric Staal: “Feeling better, he has a concussion.”
Minnesota Wild: Fletcher on Staal: “When he initially hit he felt some numbness in his feet…fortunately the scans were all negative.”
Michael Russo: Fletcher said that Staal was feeling better but wouldn’t have got clearance for awhile. There are three or four players that need offseason surgery.

John Dietz: The agent for forward Artem Anisimov confirmed that Anisimov suffered a high ankle sprain on March 14th.
