New Jersey Devils: Forward Taylor Hall had surgery on his left hand to repair torn tendons. Hall originally suffered the injury in late December. He’ll be ready for training camp.
Goaltender Cory Schneider had surgery on his left hip to repair torn cartilage. He’s expected to be out for five months.
Forward Patrick Maroon had surgery to repair a herniated disc.

Curtis Pashelka: Goaltender Martin Jones said that earlier this season he was dealing with back and knee issues.
Curtis Pashelka of The Mercury News: Forward Joe Thornton said that he had fully torn ACL and MCL ligaments in his right knee. Thornton had the same thing in his left knee last year.
“They were the same. They were the exact same,” Thornton said of his surgeries. “They said it’s very, very strange that it happened, but luckily I have two strong knees now.”
