Blues and Sharks Injury Notes

Tom Timmermann: St. Louis Blue defenseman Vince Dunn is out for Game 6.

Sheng Peng: San Jose Sharks coach Pete DeBoer wouldn’t give any updates on the status of Erik Karlsson, Joe Pavelski or Tomas Hertl.

David Satriano of NHL.com: DeBoer on his injured players.

“I’m not giving any injury or travel updates today,” Sharks coach Peter DeBoer said Monday. “We’ll dress whatever lineup gives us the best chance to win, so you know that’s the best way I can answer that.”

Erik Karlsson didn’t play in the third period of Game 5. Joe Pavelski was injured at the start of the third after an Alex Pietrangelo hit.

The trio of Karlsson, Pavelski and Hertl have combined for 16 goals and 24 assists during the playoffs.

Bolland to retire … Frolik unlikely to be back … Looke back to Sweden

Craig Morgan of The Athletic: Dave Bolland‘s contract will finally come off the Arizona Coyotes books and he’ll be retiring.

“I’ll have to speak to my agent because I don’t think I’ve talked to him in about three years, but I’ll be retiring officially,” Bolland said. “I really enjoyed my career and there were obviously some high points when you win two Cups. The first year I was out it was tough and the second year I was still trying to figure everything out — what I was going to be doing – but I came to terms with it about a year and a half ago that it was done. I won’t be coming back.”

The Coyotes are not expected to re-sign unrestricted free agent Richard Panik.

Coyotes Jens Looke cleared unconditional waivers and is heading back to Sweden.

Capitals sign two

Washington Capitals: The Capitals have re-signed forward Shane Gersich to a one-year, two-way contract. He’ll get $700,000 in the NHL, $115,000 in the minors with $125,000 guaranteed.

Washington Capitals: The Capitals have re-signed forward Brian Pinho to a one-year, two-way contract. He’ll get $700,000 in the NHL and $100,000 in the minors.
