San Jose Sharks aren't saying much about defenseman Erik Karlsson.

Injury notes

Kevin Kurz of The Athletic: With the San Jose Sharks needing a goal in the third period, defenseman Erik Karlsson went seven and half minutes sitting on the bench in discomfort.

Coach Pete DeBoer didn’t offer much on Karlsson after the game.

“I don’t have anything for you there,” said DeBoer, when asked about Karlsson laboring on the bench.

Greg Wyshynski: Karlsson was only one the ice for 6:20 in the third period, after averaging 9:27 in the first two periods. Brent Burns and DeBoer shot down questions on Karlsson’s issue.

Jim Thomas: St. Louis Blues coach Craig Berube said that Vince Dunn is with the team and he’s still listed as day-to-day. they aren’t sure when he’ll be back.

Stanley Cup Final schedule

Ty Anderson: Stanley Cup Final schedule that will open up in Boston. Times in EST.

Game 1: Monday, May 27 at 8 p.m.
Game 2: Wednesday, May 29 at 8 p.m.
Game 3: Saturday, June 1 at 8 p.m.
Game 4: Monday, June 3 at 8 p.m.
Game 5: Thursday, June 6 at 8 p.m.
Game 6: Sunday, June 9 at 8 p.m.
Game 7: Wednesday, June 12 at 8 p.m.

Chris Johnston: The Boston Bruins will have 11 days off before the Final starts, which will be the longest time off before the Final since the start of the salary cap era. The Edmonton Oilers in 2006 and Ottawa Senators in 2007 had nine days off.

Rangers signed Rykov

Renaud Lavoie: The New York Rangers have signed Yegor Rykov to a two-year entry-level deal. He has a European out clause to return to the KHL if he wants.

Davidson resigns from the Blue Jackets and joins the Rangers

Zach Braziller of the NY Post: John Davidson resigned as the Columbus Blue Jackets president of hockey operations and will become the New York Rangers president of hockey operations.

“I am excited and humbled to be named the President of the New York Rangers,” Davidson said in a press release. “The opportunity of rejoining the Rangers organization and returning home to New York, where my family and I have spent so many wonderful years, was one I simply could not pass up. I want to thank James Dolan for offering me this chance to come home.”
