NHL News: Complete 2024-25 NHL Preseason Schedule

The NHL preseason will get underway on September 21st and will end on October 5th. The NHL regular season gets underway on October 4th.

Sept 15th – Oct. 5th: Preseason

Oct. 4th: Regular season starts – Global Series

Oct. 4th and 5th: Global Series – Buffalo and Detroit in Prague, Czechia

Oct. 8th: Season starts in North America

Oct. 8th: Utah Hockey Club’s first game – against Chicago

Nov. 1st and 2nd: Global Series – Florida and Dallas in Tampere, Finland

Dec. 31st: NHL Winter Classic – St. Louis vs. Chicago at Wrigley Field

Jan. 18th: Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada

Feb. 10th – Feb. 21st: 4 Nations Face-Off – Canada, Finland, Sweden and the United States in Boston and Montreal

Mar. 1st: NHL Stadium Series – Detroit vs. Columbus at Ohio State University
