** Different sites can use different criteria for determining who is still a prospect. Also, for Dobber Prospect lists they take a fantasy hockey approach – prospects whose current trajectory projects them making the most positive fantasy impact at the time that they reach the NHL.
James Hagens – Hagens is projected as a potential top-line NHL center with impactful two-way play. With another season at Boston College planned for 2025-26, he is expected to take on a leadership role and continue developing his offensive impact. The Bruins are taking a patient approach, planning to let Hagens build further confidence in college before making his NHL debut.
Fraser Minten – Minten is a 21-year-old center recognized for his mature two-way game, strong hockey sense, and consistent work ethic. At 6’2″, 195 lbs, he has NHL-ready size to compete effectively in puck battles and defensive matchups. Minten is praised for his faceoff ability, positional discipline, and effectiveness on the penalty kill, making him a reliable presence in all three zones.
Fabian Lysell – Lysell projects as a middle-six NHL winger with high-end offensive upside if he can round out his defensive responsibilities and play with more consistency. If he continues to polish his off-puck habits—especially under a defensively demanding Bruins system—he could contribute as a sparkplug, power play threat, and potential secondary scorer.
Dans Locmelis – Locmelis projects as a reliable, versatile middle-six NHL center with special teams and two-way utility. His strong hockey sense, playmaking skill, and responsible off-puck habits make him a prime candidate for a third-line role, with upside to contribute occasionally in top-six situations when offense is needed. While not a pure goal scorer or explosive skater, his anticipation and poise under pressure make him valuable as a secondary scoring pivot.
Will Zellers – Zellers projects as a skilled middle-six NHL winger with potential secondary scoring and playmaking roles, especially on the power play. If he can add strength and polish his defensive game, he has a chance to be a high-impact offensive contributor. Scouts see him as a high-reward prospect who can bring speed, creativity, and scoring ability to a professional lineup.
