This is an interesting development considering the Avs offered the position along with the GM duties to Patrick Roy recently. The hiring of Sacco as coach and Sherman as GM seems like a short term situation and from what I’m hearing it won’t be a big surprise if Roy comes on next year to fill those positions. We’ll have to wait and see.
