The Calgary Flames have signed center Matt Stajan to a four year contract extension worth $12.5 million, a salary cap hit of $3.125 million.
The 30-year old was the 57th overall pick in the second round of the 2002 draft by the Maple Leafs. He has a cap hit of $3.5 million this season.
Wes Gilbertson: Makes a lot of sense for the Flames to keep Stajan. He’s a leader and plays against top lines.
Do you think this is a good deal for the FLAMES? Do you think this is a good deal for STAJAN? Good for BOTH?
