- Rich Chere: Devils Stephen Gionta injured his right ankle last night after crashing into the boards.
- Adrian Dater: Avalanche’s Erik Johnson had x-rays after the game after blocking a shot. Could be okay. More will be known today.
- Dave Molinari: Penguins Pascal Dupuis said that he’ll play on Saturday against the Blues.
- Helene St. James: Johan Franzen won’t be in the lineup today, but is possible for Tuesday.
- David Pollak: Sharks Brent Burns skated yesterday with a no-contact jersey on. Not known when we’ll return to the lineup.
- Sam Carchidi: Flyers Steve Downie will probably play on Tuesday.
