- Darren Dreger via twitter: The NHLPA said they are willing to talk about key economic issues, but not if salary reductions are included.
- Tom Gulitti via twitter: The NHL and NHLPA have discussed the possibility of bringing in a federal mediator. May not happen just yet though.
- Pierre LeBrun via twitter: Gary Bettman and Don Fehr did talk yesterday afternoon. Was along the lines of figuring out where they move from here.
- Josh Rimer via twitter: Rimer was told that in yesterday’s meetings that the NHL wanted to change a bunch of HRR definitions, but NHLPA said no.
