NHL Teams That Could Benefit From A Flat Salary Cap in 2020-21

Looking at seven NHL teams that could be in a position this offseason to take advantage of the 2020-21 salary cap remaining flat at $81.5 million.

Oct. 8th: Season starts in North America

Nov. 1st and 2nd: Global Series – Florida and Dallas in Tampere, Finland

Dec. 31st: NHL Winter Classic – St. Louis vs. Chicago at Wrigley Field

Jan. 18th: Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada

Feb. 10th – Feb. 21st: 4 Nations Face-Off – Canada, Finland, Sweden and the United States in Boston and Montreal

Mar. 1st: NHL Stadium Series – Detroit vs. Columbus at Ohio State University

Mar. 7th: NHL Trade Deadline (3:00 PM ET)
