In a strange turn of events, Niclas Wallin has agreed to waive his ‘no-trade’ clause for the San Jose Sharks. A couple days ago, Wallin wouldn’t waive the no-trade to go to San Jose.
The Carolina Hurricanes sent Wallin and a 2010 5th round pick to the San Jose Sharks for 2010 2nd round pick.
Wallin has played in 47 games this year, recording 5 assists, 26 penalty minutes and is a -5. In 517 career games, he’s recored 69 points and 391 penalty minutes.
