TSN: The Toronto Maple Leafs have re-signed left winger Nikolai Kulemin to a 2 year, $4.7 million contract.
The 23-year old put up 38 points in 78 games last season, 16 goals and 20 assists.
Kulemin’s play improved as the season went on. He proved to be one of their most consistent players last season, improving at both ends of the ice.
In 151 career games with the Leafs, he has 31 goals and 36 assists. He was drafted in the 2nd round, 44th overall, in 2006.
