  • Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: Penguins Kris Letang suffered a concussion on March 28th after a hit from Coyotes Shane Doan, and it’s not looking like he’ll return this this season if the Penguins make the playoffs.

“Based on his present condition,” Rutherford said, “it’s not likely he’d return this year.”

  • Paul Friesen of the Winnipeg Sun: Jets Mathieu Perreault won’t play today, but coach Paul Maurice doesn’t think he’ll be out long.

“We don’t feel right now we’re talking about anything sinister or long-term,” Maurice said. “We’ll get a real good idea in the next three or four days practice where he’s at. But it wasn’t catastrophic.”

Tobias Enstrom will get back in to the lineup. Brian Little and Ondrej Pavelec won’t play today.

  • Jeremy Rutherford: Vladimir Tarasenko, Alex Steen and Robert Burtuzzo will all play today.
  • Brett Cyrgalis: If Mats Zuccarello and Rick Nash feel okay, they will play today. Marc Staal will not play. The Rangers are hoping Staal and Kevin Klein will be able to go in Game 1.
  • Adam Vingan: Predators Cody Franson (upper-body) and Mike Fisher (lower-body) are day-to-day.
  • Chuck Gormley: Capitals coach Barry Trotz said that Eric Fehr, Jay Beagle and Tom Wilson won’t be in the lineup today.
  • Joe Smith: Lightning’s Braydon Coburn skated in a regular jersey yesterday. Alex Killorn and Andrej Sustr were in a no-contact jersey.
  • Bryan Burns: Lightning’s Alex Killorn isn’t sure if he’ll be able to go today, but he thinks he’ll definitely be ready for Game 1.
  • Mark Stepneski: Stars Alex Goligoski didn’t practice yesterday due to an undisclosed injury.
  • Shawn Mitchell: Blue Jackets Fedor Tytutin suffered a cut to the top of his right foot when the skate of a Penguin went right through his boot on April 4th.
