James Hagens is an elite, highly skilled center whose game is built around exceptional hockey sense, playmaking vision, and high-end skating, allowing him to control pace and create offense at will. He excels in transition and consistently finds seams others miss, but his slight frame and lack of physicality can limit him in heavier matchups, and he will need to prove he can handle NHL pace against stronger opponents. Overall, he projects as a dynamic top-line playmaking center with star potential if his strength and durability continue to improve.
Dean Letourneau is a towering center with intriguing raw tools, combining size, reach, and flashes of offensive ability that make him a difficult matchup when engaged. His strengths lie in his physical presence and net-front potential, but his skating, puck skills, and overall consistency remain works in progress, and he can struggle to impact the game shift-to-shift. In the long term, he projects as a development project with middle-six upside if his skating and pace improve significantly.
Will Zellers is a pure goal-scoring forward with a quick release and strong offensive instincts, consistently finding soft areas in coverage and finishing chances with efficiency. His strengths revolve around his shot and scoring touch, but he will need to improve his skating explosiveness and overall two-way game to succeed at higher levels. He projects as a potential middle-six scorer if his game diversifies beyond finishing.
Cooper Simpson is a dangerous offensive winger whose calling card is his shot, combining power, accuracy, and a quick release that allows him to score from multiple areas of the offensive zone. He also has good hands and offensive anticipation, and his 34-goal, 74-point USHL season in 2025–26 provided encouraging evidence that his scoring can translate beyond Minnesota high-school hockey. His overall skating and two-way details still have room to develop, and he will need to show that he can create the same time and space against stronger NCAA and eventually professional defenders.
William Moore is a big, skilled center who combines good puck skills, hockey sense, and creativity with a developing power element. He is particularly effective with the puck on his stick, where he can manipulate defenders and create offense for himself or his linemates. His 6-foot-2 frame gives him considerable physical upside as he matures. Boston’s scouting staff has specifically highlighted his ability to drive offense, skating, and creativity.
