** Different sites can use different criteria for determining who is still a prospect. Also, for Dobber Prospect lists they take a fantasy hockey approach – prospects whose current trajectory projects them making the most positive fantasy impact at the time that they reach the NHL.
Carter George – Drafted in the second round in 2024, George significantly boosted his stock through outstanding performances with the Owen Sound Attack and for Canada at international tournaments. His game is built on excellent positioning, composure, and technical refinement rather than pure athletic chaos. He tracks pucks extremely well, rarely looks rattled under pressure, and consistently controls rebounds. Scouts love his maturity and professionalism, traits that have helped him outperform expectations against older competition.
Henry Brzustewicz – Brzustewicz has emerged as one of the most intriguing defense prospects in the Kings pipeline. After being selected in the third round of the 2025 NHL Draft, he continued developing into a highly productive two-way defenseman in the OHL. Brzustewicz combines strong puck-moving ability with excellent offensive instincts and consistently contributes to transition play. He sees the ice well, makes smart breakout passes, and can quarterback a power play
Hampton Slukynsky – Slukynsky is another goaltender who has generated significant excitement within the Kings organization. After dominating at the high school level and then transitioning successfully to the USHL, he continued his development in college hockey while showcasing elite puck-tracking ability and impressive composure. Slukynsky’s game is remarkably calm for such a young goalie. He reads plays well, moves efficiently, and rarely wastes energy with unnecessary movements.
Jakub Dvorak – The Czech blueliner stands well over six feet tall and already possesses the kind of frame NHL teams covet. His game is centered around defensive reliability, physicality, and strong positional awareness. Dvorak excels at killing plays, closing gaps, and using his reach to disrupt opposing attackers. He is not known for high-end offensive production, but his puck movement has improved and he generally makes smart, efficient decisions with the puck.
Jared Woodley – The left-shot defenseman plays a simple, effective game built around physicality, defensive awareness, and competitiveness. He is at his best when defending along the boards, clearing the front of the net, and shutting down cycles in the defensive zone. Woolley does not project as a major offensive contributor, but he has shown improvement as a puck mover and has become more comfortable joining transition play when opportunities arise.
