** Different sites can use different criteria for determining who is still a prospect. Also, for Dobber Prospect lists they take a fantasy hockey approach – prospects whose current trajectory projects them making the most positive fantasy impact at the time that they reach the NHL.
Gabe Perreault – His greatest strength is his hockey sense. Perreault sees passing lanes that most players never recognize and consistently creates offense through anticipation, vision, and puck control. While his skating is good rather than elite, his ability to process the game at such a high level allows him to dictate play. He has also become more competitive away from the puck, addressing one of the primary concerns scouts had during his draft year.
Liam Greentree – Greentree combines size, skill, and offensive instincts in a package NHL teams covet. His production in the OHL has been outstanding, but what impresses scouts most is how he creates offense. He can score from distance with a heavy shot, make plays through traffic, and use his frame effectively along the boards and around the net. Unlike many larger forwards, Greentree possesses soft hands and strong playmaking vision.
Scott Morrow – Morrow is a smooth-skating, puck-moving defenseman who thrives in transition and excels at creating offense from the blue line. He can quarterback a power play, carry the puck through the neutral zone, and generate scoring chances through his mobility and vision. Defensively, there are still areas that need refinement, particularly regarding consistency and physical engagement, but his offensive toolkit is unquestionably NHL caliber.
EJ Emery – His game is built around elite skating, gap control, and defensive awareness. He excels at shutting down rushes before they develop and consistently frustrates opposing forwards with his reach and positioning. Unlike many young defensemen, Emery’s value comes primarily from preventing offense rather than generating it.
Malcolm Spence – A first-round pick in 2025, Spence is a powerful winger who blends physicality, skating, and offensive instincts. He plays an aggressive style, forechecks relentlessly, and is willing to battle in hard areas of the ice. Offensively, he possesses a heavy shot and enough skill to create plays for both himself and his teammates. What separates him from many power forwards is the consistency of his effort level and his commitment to playing a complete game.
