** Different sites can use different criteria for determining who is still a prospect. Also, for Dobber Prospect lists they take a fantasy hockey approach – prospects whose current trajectory projects them making the most positive fantasy impact at the time that they reach the NHL.

Ben Danford – Danford’s value comes from his mature defensive game, leadership qualities, and excellent mobility. While some fans initially questioned the selection because his offensive numbers were modest, scouts have long appreciated his ability to shut down opposing forwards, control gaps, and make smart decisions under pressure. His skating is a major strength, allowing him to defend rushes effectively and move the puck efficiently out of his own zone.

Jacob Quillan – Best known for scoring the national championship-winning goal in 2023, Quillan developed into a reliable two-way center who consistently contributed offensively while handling difficult defensive assignments. His game is built around intelligence, work ethic, and versatility rather than elite physical tools. He wins faceoffs, plays responsibly in all three zones, and possesses enough offensive skill to create scoring chances.

Dennis Hildeby – Hildeby naturally covers a large portion of the net, but what has impressed scouts most is how well he moves for a goalie of his size. He tracks pucks effectively, controls rebounds reasonably well, and has continued to adapt to North American hockey. While consistency remains an area for improvement, particularly against higher-level competition, he has shown enough progress to maintain legitimate NHL potential.

Miroslav Holinka – The Czech center combines good size, strong hockey sense, and a reliable two-way game. He is not the flashiest prospect in the system, but he consistently makes smart plays, supports teammates well, and contributes in all situations. Holinka’s offensive game has continued to improve as he gains confidence, particularly as a playmaker and puck distributor.

Tinus-Luc Koblar – Koblar has shown flashes of scoring ability and creativity while continuing to refine the details of his game. His skating and consistency remain areas of focus, but he has steadily improved in both areas over the last few seasons. What stands out most is his willingness to engage physically and compete in difficult areas of the ice.
