** Different sites can use different criteria for determining who is still a prospect. Also, for Dobber Prospect lists they take a fantasy hockey approach – prospects whose current trajectory projects them making the most positive fantasy impact at the time that they reach the NHL.

Zayne Parekh – Selected ninth overall in the 2024 NHL Draft, Parekh is an elite offensive defenseman whose production has been historic for a junior blueliner. His greatest strengths are his hockey sense, puck skills, creativity, and ability to generate offense from seemingly any situation. Parekh constantly activates into the play, creates scoring chances off the rush, and possesses outstanding vision in the offensive zone.

Cole Reschny – Despite not possessing imposing size, Reschny consistently stands out because of his exceptional hockey IQ, playmaking ability, and competitiveness. He processes the game extremely quickly and has a remarkable ability to create offense through anticipation and vision. His skating is strong, his puck skills are excellent, and he consistently finds ways to impact games in all situations.

Matvei Gridin – Gridin possesses a dangerous shot, strong puck skills, and the ability to create offense both as a shooter and playmaker. He is particularly effective when attacking off the rush and has become more confident carrying the puck through traffic. His overall pace and consistency have improved significantly over the last two seasons, helping strengthen his NHL projection.

Hunter Brzustewicz – Acquired from Vancouver, Brzustewicz built his reputation as a highly intelligent puck-moving defenseman with excellent offensive instincts. His vision and passing ability stand out immediately, and he consistently facilitates offense through quick puck movement and smart decisions. While not an elite athlete, he skates well enough to support his offensive game and continues to improve defensively.

Cullen Porter – His speed allows him to pressure defenders, create transition opportunities, and generate offense off the rush. Beyond the skating, Potter has impressive puck skills and offensive creativity, making him a constant threat whenever he has possession. His frame still needs development, and he will continue adding strength as he matures physically, but his upside is substantial.
