- Dave Molinari: Penguins Pascal Dupuis was taking part in some on ice workouts on Monday. He’s still out indefinitely due to blood clots.
- Chuck Gormley: Capitals Eric Fehr will be out at least two games. (first game was last night)
- Boston Bruins: Zdeno Chara has a non-displaced fracture of his left fibula which will take about four weeks recovery.
- Bruce Garrioch: Senators Chris Phillips was scheduled to have back surgery yesterday. Expected to be ready for training camp.
- Marc Antoine Godin: Canadiens Jarred Tinordi has wrist surgery on Monday. Rehab will be two to three months.
- Hockey Central: Canadiens Nathan Beaulieu will be out for the remainder of the series with an upper-body injury.
- Tom Gulitti: Devils Adam Henrique may have had some sort of arm/hand surgery last week.
