The Detroit Red Wings have re-signed restricted free agent Gustav Nyquist to a four year deal worth $19 million – a $4.75 million salary cap hit.
According to GeneralFanager.com, the Red Wings have a current salary cap hit of $71.9 million for 25 players – 14 forwards, 9 defensemen and 2 goalies.
The 25-year old Nyquist was drafted 121st overall in the fourth round of the 2008 draft by the Red Wings.
