Mike McIntyre: Winnipeg Jets forward Jonathan Toews said in his exit interviews that he hasn’t made a decision about his future. He’ll decide of the next few weeks. Toews did say that he would only want to play for the Jets, and no other team.

Jim Biringer: New Jersey Devils RFA defenseman Simon Nemec said that he would love to sign a contract extension with the Devils, but there hadn’t been any talks.
With a new GM coming in, who knows would changes could be coming for the Devils.

Teddy Blueger is likely to test what his options are on July 1st, but is not closing the door on Vancouver
Sekeres and Price: David Pagnotta, on Vancouver Canucks pending UFA Teddy Blueger. He’s not closing the door on re-signing with the Canucks, but he’s likely headed to July 1st to see what his options are.
Matt Sekeres: “You have some information on Teddy Blueger, David.
Pagnotta: “Yeah, so he’s one of the pending unrestricted free agents, you know, that are out there. We know Evander Kane not going to be back with, with the club next season.
As well, Blueger, there is interest from the Canucks to keep him, which is why they didn’t trade him at the deadline. They had a price. It wasn’t met. They wanted to hold on to him and see if they can convince him to stick around beyond this season.

I believe he will go to July one to explore the market. I believe he, I don’t think he’s closing the door on the Canucks by any stretch, but I think where he’s at in his career, where the Canucks are at in their rebuild. I think he wants to just understand his options before making a commitment.
