Matthew Fairburn: Buffalo Sabres coach Lindy Ruff said that forward Noah Ostlund is a real possibility for the Sabres tonight.
Gerry Moddejonge: Edmonton Oilers forwards Adam Henrique (lower-body) and Jason Dickinson (undisclosed) were not in the lineup.
Bruce Garrioch: Ottawa Senators defenseman Artem Zub hasn’t skated since he suffered the injury.

- Claire Hanna: Senators coach Travis Green said that Kleven is getting closer to returning, but isn’t sure if he’s ready for Game 3. Despite not skating since his Game 1 lower-body injury, Green said Zub a possibility later in the series.
Jordan Hall: Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Emil Andrae was at their morning skate. He missed Game 2 with an upper-body injury.
Gabby Shirley: Tampa Bay Lightning coach Jon Cooper on forward Pontus Holmberg: “I would say he is still a few weeks. We would have to advance. He will definitely not be in this series.”
Cooper on Charle-Edouard D’Astous – “He’s getting better. He is progressing so, hopefully, he will skate in Montreal and we will see from there.”
Capitals PR: Washington Capitals defenseman Rasmus Sandin had surgery to repair an ACL tear in his right knee. He was injured on April 11th against the Penguins. Typical recovery can be between six and nine months.
