Derek Lee: Anaheim Ducks defenseman Radko Gudas (lower-body) did take part in their morning skate, and forward Troy Terry (maintenance) didn’t take part.

Derek Lee: Ducks defenseman Drew Helleson missed last night’s game with an undisclosed injury. He’s listed as day-to-day.

Sean Farrell: Buffalo Sabres forward Sam Carrick returned to the lineup for the first time since suffering an upper-body injury on March 31st. He only played 6:17 but registered two shots on net.

Peter Baugh: Colorado Avalanche coach Jared Bednar said that defenseman Josh Manson and forward Joel Kiviranta are close to being cleared to return. Both players skated yesterday and are possibilities for tonight.

Adam Kimelman: The Philadelphia Flyers were eliminated on Saturday. Owen Tippett had been out with an undisclosed injury. Forward Noah Cates missed their final two games with a lower-body injury. Forward Christian Dvorak had been playing through an injury, and coach Rick Tocchet called him “a warrior.”

NHL Rumors: Toronto Maple Leafs, and the San Jose Sharks

Bill Meltzer: Heard that Tippett had been dealing with a sports hernia, Cam York had a fractured rib, and Dvorak had a separated shoulder.

Jesse Granger of The Athletic: Vegas Golden Knights forward Mark Stone left Friday’s game in the first period after suffering an injury where there wasn’t any contact. He was backchecking and went to avoid Alex Killorn, lifted his left leg, then immediately favored his upper leg/groin and headed straight off. He tested to start the second period, then immediately exited the game.

He’s a big part of their lineup. With him in the lineup during the regular season throughout his time with the Golden Knights, they have a record of 239-118-43 for a .651 points percentage, and without him they are 81-55-19 for a .585 points percentage. (Prior to last night) He’s only missed one playoff game, their elimination game last season.
