** Different sites can use different criteria for determining who is still a prospect. Also, for Dobber Prospect lists they take a fantasy hockey approach – prospects whose current trajectory projects them making the most positive fantasy impact at the time that they reach the NHL.

Emil Hemming – Hemming remains the consensus top forward prospect in the Dallas system. After leaving Finland for the OHL, he has adapted well to North American hockey and strengthened his projection as a future NHL middle-six winger with scoring upside. Likely Outcome is a reliable middle-six goal scorer (20-30 goal potential)

Cameron Schmidt – Schmidt may be the most purely skilled forward in the Dallas system. He exploded offensively during 2025-26, scoring 51 goals and 100 points while becoming one of the WHL’s premier offensive players. Elite puckhandling, deceptive shooting, and creativity make him dangerous every time he touches the puck.

Tristan Bertucci – Bertucci’s stock has quietly risen over the last year. After strong OHL playoff performances, he’s transitioned into professional hockey and is beginning to look like a legitimate NHL option within the next two seasons. Good skater, but not an elite one. Additional explosiveness would elevate his NHL projection.

Remi Poirier – Poirier has evolved into Dallas’ clear No. 3 goaltender. He has posted strong AHL numbers while earning NHL recalls, but Jake Oettinger’s long-term presence limits his path to a significant NHL role in Dallas. Excellent recovery ability and flexibility allow him to make difficult second-effort saves. Handles traffic well and often flashes high-end save-making ability.

Aram Minnetian – Minnetian signed his entry-level contract in March and has officially begun the transition to professional hockey. Dallas views him as one of the more intriguing defensemen in the system because of his skating and puck-moving ability. His defensive game improved significantly during his final NCAA season, raising confidence in his NHL projection.
