Caleb Desnoyers – Desnoyers consistently drives play, controls possession, and creates scoring opportunities through intelligence rather than relying solely on raw skill. His skating is strong, his vision is excellent, and he plays with a level of competitiveness that coaches love. What separates him from many offensive prospects is his commitment to the defensive side of the game. Scouts see shades of a young Patrice Bergeron or Nico Hischier in his style.

Tij Iginla – The son of Hall of Famer Jarome Iginla, Tij has carved out his own identity through elite shooting ability, strong skating, and a relentless attacking mentality. He consistently finds dangerous scoring areas and possesses one of the best releases among young prospects. His offensive production continued to explode following his draft year, and his playmaking has developed significantly, making him more than just a goal scorer.

Sebastian Cossa – Cossa is a massive, athletic goaltender who appears ready to make the jump from the AHL to a significant NHL role with Utah. The 6-foot-6 Cossa went 26-8-4 with a 2.33 goals-against average, .915 save percentage and five shutouts for Grand Rapids in 2025-26 before Utah acquired him from Detroit for a first-round pick. His strengths are his size, athleticism, lateral movement and strong glove, and he moves remarkably well for such a large goalie.

Ethan Belchetz – Belchetz is a huge power winger who combines a 6-foot-5, 228-pound frame with legitimate offensive ability. Utah traded up to select him 17th overall in the 2026 NHL Draft after he scored 34 goals and 59 points in 57 games for Windsor. Belchetz’s strengths are his power, net-front presence, goal-scoring instincts and willingness to attack the middle of the ice. He is difficult to contain when he gets moving and plays with an edge, giving him the tools to become a physically imposing NHL forward.

Dmitri Simashev – For a defenseman his size, his mobility is remarkable, allowing him to close gaps quickly, recover defensively, and neutralize opposing attackers before plays become dangerous. While his offensive numbers do not jump off the page, scouts consistently point out that he possesses more offensive ability than his statistics suggest. His puck movement has improved steadily, and he is becoming more confident joining the attack when opportunities arise.
