  • Tim Wharnsby: Maple Leafs Brandon Kozun clears waivers. The Predators put Viktor Stalberg on waivers. The Devils put Mark Fraser on waivers.
  • Oklahoma City Barons: The Barons (Oilers AHL team) will cease operations at the end of this season.
  • Mike Morreale: Potential 2016 1st overall draft pick Auston Matthews has narrowed his college choices to: BC, BU, Michigan, Denver and UND.
  • Sean Reynolds: The Jets have lost defenseman Mark Stuart until February. He suffered a lower-body injury in fight during a game against the Sabres.
  • Aaron Portzline: Blue Jackets Scott Hartnell will have x-rays on his fractured finger tonight. They want to make sure it’s healing properly.
