Dave Feschuk: “Well, what’s you, let’s let’s talk about that, Marty. I mean, I you brought it up and you and you’re wearing it. What do you think the odds are that the Sabres a) would be interested and b) could pull it off with Connor Hellebuyck?
Biron: “I think they’re very interested. So that’s the one thing. Like I think they, sorry, I think they’re very interested, and that’s the one thing for me.

Like you see Florida getting better, adding Brady Tkachuk. Toronto is better. Sergei Bobrowsky they got the number one overall pick. Montreal beat you last year. Ottawa I mean yes they lost their captain but they were they were a team I thought was going to beat Carolina in the first round. Carolina ends up winning the the Cup. Tampa is still really good.
So I’m thinking you, have to do your homework. You have to see what can maybe put you over the top. And I think a goalie like Connor Hellebuyck puts you over the top. So I think Buffalo’s really interested.
I thought it was more likely to happen before the draft, knowing that the Sabres at the fourth overall pick,. Knowing that (Ukka-Pekka) Luukkonen did not have a no-trade clause, maybe that was the time to do it.
I still think it’s a possibility now, but I believe for me in Buffalo it may be less likely. Would I welcome the addition of a three time Vezina trophy goaltender and a you know Hart trophy winner? 100%. But I just, I’m starting to think like this is gonna be a complicated trade if that happens.
The one thing that Winnipeg I believe would like in return is a second line center. So is that Ryan McLeod? Is that a Josh Norris? Is that maybe a Noah Ostlund or a Konsta Helenius? Like one of those young players.
