  • Adrian Dater of the Denver Post: Avs Alex Tanguay didn’t suffer a broken jaw on the deflected Alex Ovechkin shot. Dennis Everberg will be out indefinitely with a separated shoulder. Jamie McGinn remains out with a back injury. Semyon Varlamov remains out with a groin injury.
  • Jim Matheson: Oilers Benoit Pouliot breaks his foot after blocking a Marek Zidlicky shot.
  • Shawn McKenzie: Maple Leafs Phil Kessel left practice early yesterday after falling. Coach Randy Carlyle said he has a stiff neck, but it doesn’t sound serious.
  • Jonas Siegel: Randy Carlyle said that Joffrey Lupul won’t play this weekend, likely back on Wednesday.
  • Randy Miller: Michael Del Zotto is questionable for today. If he goes, Luke Schenn will likely be scratched.
  • Randy Miller: Flyers Chris VandeVelde (lower-body) is doubtful for today.
  • Joe Haggerty: Bruins David Krejci missed his seventh of nine games with a lower-body injury last night.
