  • Eric Stephens: Ducks Nate Thompson is still day-to-day with an upper-body injury. He is improving, but coach Bruce Boudreau won’t commit to him for Game 4.
  • Bryan Burns: Lightning’s Jason Garrison“I just want to make sure that I’m at the point where I’m able to be physical out there and not worry about it.”
  • Jason Mackey: Penguins Christian Ehrhoff’s recovery has “flat-lined.”
  • Dave Molinari: Penguins Pascal Dupuis was taking part in some on ice workouts on Monday. He’s still out indefinitely due to blood clots.
  • Chuck Gormley: Capitals Eric Fehr will be out at least two games. (first game was last night)
  • Boston Bruins: Zdeno Chara has a non-displaced fracture of his left fibula which will take about four weeks recovery.
  • Bruce Garrioch: Senators Chris Phillips was scheduled to have back surgery yesterday. Expected to be ready for training camp.
  • Marc Antoine Godin: Canadiens Jarred Tinordi has wrist surgery on Monday. Rehab will be two to three months.
  • Hockey Central: Canadiens Nathan Beaulieu will be out for the remainder of the series with an upper-body injury.
  • Tom Gulitti: Devils Adam Henrique may have had some sort of arm/hand surgery last week.
