  • Rich Chere of NJ.com: Devils Ryane Clowe appears to be sidelined with another concussion, and it’s not known for sure if he’ll be able to play again. Clowe had two concussions last year.

    “In situations like this, you don’t know,” Lamoriello said. “He’s feeling much better, but right now he cannot play. Hopefully he can.

    “A lot of players have a series of concussions of different levels and they’re playing. I’m not saying that should be the case here.”

  • Chris Kuc: Blackhawks Patrick Sharp (knee) is close to skating and could join the team a some point on their road trip. He wouldn’t be playing though.
  • Juha Hiitela: Canucks Dan Hamhuis left last night’s game with a lower-body injury.
  • Harvey Fialkov: Panthers Scottie Upshall is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
  • Jason Gregor: Oilers Nikita Nikitin is not skating yet due to back issues.
