Injuries: Ducks, Rangers, Wild, Lightning, Jackets, Bruins, Canucks and Leafs
  • Eric Stephens of the OC Register: Ducks Ryan Getzlaf will return to the lineup tonight after being out with the flu. Frederik Andersen should be ready to start. Corey Perry (illness) remains a question for tonight.
  • Andrew Gross of the Record: Rangers Derek Stepan was cleared for contact earlier this week and will be activated from the LTIR in time for tomorrow’s game.
  • Chad Graff: Wild’s Zach Parise will miss at least the next two games with a concussion.
  • Tom Gulitti of the Record: Devils Adam Henrique missed last night’s game with a lower-body injury, but hasn’t been ruled out for tonight.
  • Tampa Bay Lightning: Victor Hedman has been skating the past two days. He has a splint around his index finger and will be meeting next week with doctors to get  a better idea when he can return. Coach Jon Cooper: “He’s still got a few weeks.” Alex Killorn returned to practice yesterday since suffering an injury last Saturday. Killorn is expected to play at some point on the road trip.
  • Shawn Mitchell: Any further surgery for Blue Jackets Ryan Murray (lower-body) hasn’t been talked about by the team. He’s been ruled out for tonight, but not beyond.
  • Shawn Mitchell: Blue Jackets defenseman James Wisniewski (broken finger) practiced yesterday.
  • Michael Smith: Hurricanes Jiri Tlusty practiced yesterday with a no-contact jersey.
  • Joe Haggerty: Bruins David Krejci left the game in the third period after his lower-body injury got ‘sore.’ He’s hoping a few days off will help the issue.
  • Jon Abbott: Canucks Zach Kassian missed last night’s game with a lower-body injury.
  • Tom Gulitti: Devils Ryane Clowe left last night’s game with an injury.
  • Jonas Siegel: Maple Leafs Jake Gardiner suffered a bone bruise after blocking a shot.
  • Jonas Siegel: Maple Leafs Phil Kessel wouldn’t answer questions regarding an apparent injury during last night’s game. Kessel missed the first six minutes of the third period, but was able to finish the game.
  • Jonas Siegel: Randy Carlyle on Daniel Winnik“He’s 100 per cent fine. He says there’s nothing wrong with him.”Winnik was taken off the ice on a stretcher.
