  • Montreal Canadiens: Carey Price will be out for at least six weeks with a lower-body injury. Price doesn’t require surgery.

On the Rangers …

On the Maple Leafs …

  • Mark Masters: Coach Mike Babcock said that James Reimer would start on Wednesday if he’s healthy. Garret Sparks would start if Reimer is not ready.
  • James Mirtle: Would be shocked if Reimer is ready for their next two games.

On the Ducks …

  • Elliott Teaford: Patrick Maroon only suffered a raspberry when he was hit by Jared McCann’s skate.
  • Curtis Zupka: No update on Simon Despres as of Sunday.

On the Flames …

  • Pat Steinberg: Sean Monahan “felt awful” and left practice early. Not known if he’ll miss any time.

On the Stars …

  • Mark Stepneski: Kari Lehtonen (upper-body) should be cleared today and available after Wednesday.

On the Coyotes …

  • Sarah McLellan: Shane Doan practiced yesterday and will be reevaluated this morning. Steve Downie will travel with the team and is a “possibility.”

  • Erik Erlendsson: Tyler Johnson wasn’t on the ice for practice yesterday. Jonathan Drouin and Cedric Paquette were both practicing in a regular jersey.
  • Erik Erlendsson: Ondrej Palat didn’t practice yesterday.

  • Ben Raby: Brooks Orpik is doubtful for Thursday. Orpik has missed the past nine games with a lower-body injury.

  • John Vogl: Coach Dan Bylsma said that Mark Pysyk is skating by himself back in Buffalo. Tyler Ennis isn’t on the ice yet and there is no timetable for him yet.

  • Ben Kuzma: Coach Willie Desjardins said that Jake Virtanen’s rib injury is not serious and that there was no fracture. There is no timetable for his return.
