  • Bob McKenzie: Panthers Roberto Luongo is getting some more imaging done today. He’s meeting with an ortho doctor for a diagnosis on his shoulder. Al Montoya is likely out for weeks.
  • Bob McKenzie: If Loungo is going to be out for a while, GM Dale Tallon could look to trade for a goalie. Trades are allowed, the player is not playoff eligible.
  • UPDATE: ClearedTed Kulfan: Henrik Zetterberg taking tests this afternoon, and if cleared, will be in the lineup.
  • Curtis Zupke: Ducks Tim Jackman is out four to six weeks with a lower body injury.
  • Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Tribune Review: Penguins GM Jim Rutherford on Pascal Dupuis.

    “I’ve talked to the doctor about it, and he will not have a chance to be cleared until June 1,” Rutherford told Trib Total Media. “I guess if you want to factor in an appearance in the finals, that could be a projection. But not until that period.”

    It was announced on November 19th that Dupuis had a blood clot in lung and would be out for six months.

  • Terry Frei of the Denver Post: Avalanche’s Nathan MacKinnon broke his nose on Saturday after a hit from Wild’s Sean Bergenheim. MacKinnon did return in the third period wearing a cage.
  • Jon Rosen: Hockey ops saying they are hopeful that defenseman Alec Martinez can have two hard days on the stationary bike this week.
