  • Aaron Portzline: Blue Jackets Ryan Murray will be out four to six weeks with a high-ankle sprain.
  • John Shannon: Damage to Jets Evander Kane was more severe than they anticipated. Surgery was successful in repairing his torn labrum.
  • Kevin Kurz: Marc-Edouard Vlasic has an upper-body injury, which was different from the “not feeling well” that they said earlier.
  • Michael Russo: Wild’s Matt Cooke had surgery and will be out five to six weeks.
  • Steve Zipay: Rangers Jesper Fast sprained his knee and will miss today’s game. Derek Stepan could return after missing yesterday’s game.
  • Dennis Bernstein: Kings Alec Martinez left last night’s game with an upper-body injury.
  • Mike Chambers: Avs Patrick Roy said that Erik Johnson is doing some swimming and light gym activity, but no skating. His knee scope was two weeks ago. Was expected to miss between three and eight weeks.
  • Andy Strickland: Blues coach Ken Hitchcock said that Jori Lehtera will not play today.
  • Jameson Olive: Panthers Willie Mitchell (upper-body) and Sean Bergenheim (flu) are likely out today.
  • Erik Erlendsson: Lightning coach Jon Cooper said Jason Garrison’s injury is not  a long-term issue. He’s questionable for today.
  • Joe Yerdon: Sabres Marcus Foligno said if he doesn’t return today, he’ll be back on Tuesday.
  • Chris Johnston: Dion Phaneuf missed his sixth straight game last night.
