- New Jersey Devils: Devils Damon Severson will be out four to five weeks with a non-displaced hairline fracture in his left ankle.
- Joe Smith: The Lightning are being cautious with Ben Bishop. Not being ruled for Tuesday against the Penguins.
- Erik Erlendsson: Lightning’s Tyler Johnson is questionable for tomorrow due to an illness. Was kept away from the team yesterday. Not mumps related.
- Joe Smith: Lightning’s Ondrej Palat (lower-body) practiced yesterday and is hopeful for tonight or tomorrow.
- Chip Alexander: Alex Semin is close to returning to the Hurricanes lineup. Could be in this weekend.
- Helene St. James: Red Wings Stephen Weiss practiced yesterday and is hopeful to play before Christmas.
- Jon Rosen: Kings Robyn Regehr left last night’s game with an upper-body injury
- Harvey Fialkov: Panthers Brad Boyes is out with an upper-body injury.
- Scott Cruickshank: Flames Mikael Badcklund (abdominal surgery) skated this morning.
- Pat Hickey of the Montreal Gazette: Canadiens Max Pacioretty ended up going to the hospital with an upper-body injury as a precaution after a hit from Clayton Stoner.
