    “He’s getting better,” Yeo said. “We’ll see where he’s at when we come home from the road trip.”

On the Lightning …

  • Erik Erlendsson: Coach Jon Cooper indicated that Tyler Johnson’s injury is not concussion related.
  • Joe Smith: Jonathan Drouin said that his injury is not related to the his previous lower-body injury. It’s happen on Saturday and he’s not sure how long he’ll be out.

On the Islanders …

  • Arthur Staple: Mikhail Grabovski left last night’s game with an upper body injury.
  • Arthur Staple: Defenseman Thomas Hickey (left leg) skated yesterday for the first time since his injury on Oct. 25th

On the Panthers …

  • George Richards: GM Dale Talon said that Dmitry Kulikov had a MRI and it revealed no serious injury. He’s still expected to miss a few games.

On the Sabres …

  • John Vogl: Zegmus Girgensons could miss tonight’s game after taking a big hit on the weekend. Coach Dan Bylsma said the injury was not to his head.
  • John Vogl: Defenseman Zach Bogosian: “I’m not going to sit here and say I’m in. That’s up to coach, but I feel like I’m ready to go.”
  • John Vogl: Coach Dan Bylsma on Bogosian: “He looks like he should be ready to play sometime this week.”

On the Flames …

  • Aaron Vickers: Mark Giordano on rumors that he’s dealing an injury: “No, no. I feel fine. I feel 100 percent out there, otherwise I wouldn’t be playing.”
  • Pat Steinberg: TJ Brodie was given the day off yesterday, but is expected to play today.

On the Kings …

  • Rich Hammond: Defenseman Matt Greene won’t travel with their team on their road trip. Dwight King, who is out with a broken foot, is about two weeks away from losing the soft boot and resuming his training.

On the Sharks …

  • Curtis Pashelka: Ben Smith skated for about 20 minutes after practice: “It’s big step forward for me.”

On the Oilers …

  • Chris Wescott on Oilers.com: Justin Schultz has been out since Oct. 27th with a bulging disc. He skated with the team for the first time since his injury yesterday.

    “I skated a couple times last week by myself or with (Lauri Korpikoski),” said Schultz. “It’s good to be back with the guys. You definitely don’t feel part of the team when they’re on the road and you’re here alone so it’s good to be back.”

    There is not timetable for his return.
