On the Calgary Flames …

Kristen Odland: Winger Kris Versteeg missed last night’s game.

Roger Millions: Versteeg re-aggravated an upper-body injury.

On the Anaheim Ducks …

On the Dallas Stars …

Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News: Jiri Hudler (illness) and Johnny Oduya (lower-body) are close to returning to the lineup. The Stars in in Philadelphia on Saturday and Chicago on Sunday.

“I fully anticipate that he’d be ready by the weekend,” Ruff said of Oduya, who missed his ninth consecutive game Thursday. Hudler is a little trickier.

Defenseman Julius Honka missed last night’s game with an upper-body injury. Coach Lindy Ruff: “It’s not serious. I would anticipate a shot window for him.”
