Kevin Paul Dupont: Boston Bruins defenseman Hampus Lindholm skated in a no-contact jersey.

Joe McDonald: Bruins defenseman Andrew Peeke left last night’s game in the first period with a lower-body injury. Coach Marco Sturm on Peeke:

“He’s going to try to skate , so we’ll see how it is. He’ll definitely come on the road (to Chicago, where Boston plays Saturday) and we don’t think it’s going to be long-term. Hopefully, he’ll be back in Chicago, or the latest in Dallas (on Tuesday).”

Bruce Miles: Calgary Flames defenseman MacKenzie Weegar briefly left last night’s game in the third period after blocking a shot off his left foot. He had an ice pack on it after the game.

“I’m good,” he said. “That’s just how I’m contributing right now. If that’s the way, then so be it. I’ll eat it, but it was a team effort tonight, it really was.”

Bruce Miles: Chicago Blackhawks forward Teuvo Teravainen missed last night’s game with an upper-body injury and is day-to-day. Forward Connor Bedard returned ot the lineup after missing one game due to illness.

Craig Merz: Columbus Blue Jackets activated defenseman Erik Gudbranson from the IR, and he returned to the lineup after missing the past 38 games with a hip injury.

Michael Russo: Minnesota Wild defenseman Jonas Brodin (lower-body) is listed as week-to-week. He missed four games back in December.

Joe Smith: Wild forward Joel Eriksson Ek is day-to-day and is travelling with the team.

NHL: New York Islanders forward Bo Horvat missed his sixth consecutive game last night with a lower-body injury.

Wes Crosby: Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Dan Vladar missed last night’s game with an undisclosed injury he suffered in Wednesday’s game.

NHL: Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen missed last night’s game with an upper-body injury.

Joe McDonald: Seattle Kraken defenseman Brandon Montour returned to the lineup after missing the past 14 games with an upper-body injury.

TSN: The St. Louis Blues placed forward Robert Thomas on the IR, and his upper-body injury will be re-evaluated in two weeks. Thomas missed Tuesday’s game.

NHL: Tampa Bay Lightning coach Jon Cooper said that defenseman Victor Hedman could return to the ice soon. He’s been on the IR since December 11th. There was no update on forward Brayden Point, who missed his second game.

Leafs PR: Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Simon Benoit missed last night’s game with an upper-body injury.

Leafs PR: Maple Leafs forward William Nylander left last night’s game with a lower-body injury.

  • TSN: Leafs coach Craig Berube on Nylander: “He’s back playing great and now he’s out again. We’ll see how long.”

Danielle Bain: Winnipeg Jets defenseman Neal Pionk is listed as week-to-week now, according to coach Scott Arniel. Defensemen Colin Miller and Haydn Fleury are also week-to-week.
