  • Ken Wiebe: Jets forward Andrew Ladd missed last night’s game and he could be finished for the year as well according to Paul Maurice.
  • Aaron Portzline: Blue Jackets top 9 injuries: Nathan Horton, Nick Foligno and R.J. Umberger.
  • Shawn Mitchell: Blue Jackets R.J. Umberger has an upper-body injury and will be out “for probably at least a couple of weeks” according to Todd Richards.
  • Rob Mixer: Blue Jackets Nikita Nikitin who had been bothered with a lower-body injury has been cleared to play two games ago.
  • Adam Vingan: Capitals Mike Green missed practice with an upper-body injury.
  • Lou Korac: Blues Alex Steen remains day-to-day, no update yesterday.
  • Elliotte Friedman: Maple Leafs Joffrey Lupul will have knee surgery and is will be out three weeks.
  • AP in ESPN: Sabres Chad Ruhwedel and Nathan Lieuwen will be out for the remainder of the season with concussions. Christian Ehrhoff status for tonight is not known after taking a puck to the ear. Marcus Foligno (knee), Chris Stewart (lower-body) and Torrey Mitchell (undisclosed) could return tonight.
  • Dan Wood: Ducks Cam Fowler “will play this week” according to coach Bruce Boudreau.
