On the St. Louis Blues …

Lou Korac: The Blues activated Joel Edmundson off the IR and put Robert Bortuzzo on the IR.

Lou Korac: Bortuzzo will be re-evaluated in six weeks.

On the Winnipeg Jets …

Sara Orlesky: There is still no timetable for defenseman Tyler Myers. Joel Armia should return mid-late December. Shawn Matthias is scheduled for late December/early January. Nic Petan could return in a couple weeks.

Ken Wiebe: Alex Burmistrov left last night’s game with an upper-body injury.

On the Dallas Stars …

Sean Shapiro: Defenseman Julius Honka had his arm in a cast after the game.

Sean Shapiro: Coach Lindy Ruff said that Honka’s injury “doesn’t look serious, but he couldn’t play.”

On the Vancouver Canucks …

Vancouver Canucks: Philip Larsen was awake and responsive as he was taken off the ice on a stretcher. He was taken to the hospital for further evaluation.

On the San Jose Sharks …

Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area: Forward Logan Couture had a minor surgical procedure over the weekend. He had one of his six screws removed from the fractured fibula he suffered in October of 2015. Couture hasn’t practiced this week, but he’s hoping to be on the ice today.

“It was irritating when I put my skate on,” he said. “It wasn’t anything structural, it was just from having the skate on that area and irritation was building up. Figured we had a little break here and could take it out, and hopefully it feels better.”

On the Chicago Blackhawks …

Chris Hine: Coach Joel Quenneville said that defenseman Brent Seabrook was “injured, could not return.”

Chris Hine: Quenneville on Seabrook’s upper-body injury: “We’ll see how he is tomorrow.”

Tracey Myers: Quenneville said they are hopeful to get Jonathan Toews back on the ice later this week and that he’ll be able to travel with them on their New York trip.

Mark Lazerus: In a procedural move, the Blackhawks put Corey Crawford on the IR retroactive to December 3rd.

Chris Hine: Corey Crawford was at the United Center yesterday and has been doing so off-ice exercises according to Quenneville.
