NHL Rumors: Late Night-Early Morning Taylor Hall Talk
It's looking like a Taylor Hall could be getting closer.

Some overnight and early morning notes the Taylor Hall situation

7:43 AM: Adrian Dater: “Hearing more and more that Avs are out on Hall and maybe never really were in it. But he could become a Blue, which I’m sure wouldn’t thrill them.”

1:38 AM: Jim Matheson: Forget Hall going to the Oilers. They aren’t trading their first round pick unless it is lottery protected.

1:31 AM: Jim Matheson: “Re Taylor Hall and Oilers in trade. Holland is not giving up 1st round pick unless Edm guaranteed to be in playoffs at end of Feb. Not trading Bouchard or Broberg or Bear. They are NOT trading for him. He is NOT signing with Edm. No money for that”

12:16 AM: John Shannon: “While there appears to be interest from multiple teams for Taylor Hall…keep hearing St Louis and Arizona at the top of the list.”

12:07 AM: Mike Chambers: Avs Nathan MacKInnon on Hall to the Avs rumors: “It wasn’t true. Or else we’d probably have him…It’s weird that he got pulled off but…I’d like to have a lot of players. I’d like to have Sid, McDavid, all those guys. Obviously (Hall) is a possibility but we like our team”

11:59 PM: Bob McKenzie: “My sense is there are at least a half dozen teams who have shown considerable interest in Hall and NJ is obviously getting traction with one or more — hence Hall being pulled from tonight’s game for precautionary reasons — but that doesn’t mean a deal is minutes or hours away.”

  • Bob McKenzie: “I’m not saying Hall will end up in ARI, but I would say Coyotes appear to be one of the teams with notable interest in him and likely have the motivation/wherewithal to perhaps get it done. Though I suspect they are not alone on those counts. On that note, I’m going to bed.”

11:57 PM: John Shannon: “Taylor Hall appears to be on the “trade tour”…Denver tonight…Glendale, Arizona tomorrow…where the rumours will continue.

11:54 PM: Chris Johnston: “I’d be surprised if Taylor Hall remained with #NJDevils  into next week. Negotiations have reached a different level of urgency tonight.”
