Sergei Bobrovsky is not willing to give the Florida Panthers a discount just yet
David Dwork: “It continues to sound like Sergei Bobrovsky is prioritizing contract value as he seeks what will probably be his last NHL deal.
Perhaps things will change, but the idea that he would give the Panthers a hometown discount, as so many others have done, has not come to fruition yet.”

Host: “Where we at as far as Jason Robertson. It felt like things were trending in the right direction for Seattle yesterday. Then we learned that, you know, Seattle isn’t his destination of choice. So, where might a destination of choice be for a guy like Jason Robertson?
Friedman: “Well, the number one thing I believe here is that, you know, I heard, I said about him, on my radio hit in the, on Sportsnet, that there was the possibility that he could just take a one-year deal as qualifying offer, go to arbitration and walk himself to free agency.
So, somebody called me right after that, and they said Dallas is not going to let that happen. So, I think they’re still trying to trade him.
Now, I think what may have changed is that Dallas may not be looking at this as we’re going to trade them with permission for you to talk to him. That maybe we trade them, and you take your chances.
So, I think everybody here is trying to do their research and see, do we think that we’re a place that he might want to go? Do we think that we’re a place is prepared to offer him what he wants, which is probably in the 14 area.
And I do think they’re going to have some teams out there that are interested, and we’ll see if it gets it done tonight, but I do think Dallas is trying to trade him.
