Matthew Sekeres: There have been some rumblings that Vegas could acquire the No. 2 pick in the draft from the Flyers.

Sam Carchidi: Vegas is kicking tires on unprotected and free agent forward Jordan Weal. thinks he’ll re-sign with the Flyers.

On the Vegas Golden Knights …

Pierre LeBrun: From what has gathered, the Golden Knights have secured about 10 extra draft picks over the next three three years so far.

Pierre LeBrun: There are also deals for players and three-way trades that Vegas is involved in. Some will be made public tonight, some others will happen tomorrow.

Pierre LeBrun: thinks that some teams have been holding on to non-Vegas trades until the whole Vegas expansion draft process is done with.

Pierre LeBrun: Any players that Vegas is flipping in three-way trades won’t be announced until tomorrow. Those players will be part of the expansion reveal. All other side deals will be announced tonight after they are processed by Central Registry.

On the Tampa Bay Lightning …

Joe Smith: Source saying that one prospect the Lightning could be sending to Vegas is Nikita Gusev. Gusev has one year left on his KHL contract.

On the New York Rangers …

Larry Brooks: The Rangers don’t have a deal in place with the Vegas regarding any of their unprotected players. They never had any intention of doing so.

On the Washington Capitals …

JJ Regan: Haven’t seen anything to suggest the Capitals have a deal in place with Vegas.
