Leafs PR: The Maple Leafs have recalled William Nylander from MODO and assigned him to the AHL. Darren Dreger: The Leafs have no intention of recalling Nylander from the Marlies. There was recall provision in Nylanders contract that had to be trigger by January 16th.
Shawn Mitchell: Blue Jackets Ryan Murray practiced for the first 40 minutes of a tough one hour practice. They are being careful with him.
Josh Yohe: Penguins Kris Letang didn’t practice today, but is expected to play tomorrow.

Chuck Gormley: Capitals Dmitry Orlov is improving, but is not ready to go. They will recall a Dman.
Stephen Whyno: Capitals defenseman Nate Schmidt will be out six- to eight-weeks after fracturing his shoulder blade while on a stint in the AHL.
