Rumors: Bruins, Sharks, Kings, Leafs and Oilers
  •  Joe Haggerty of CSNNE: Chris Stewart is the most likely trade candidate for the Bruins. The Bruins have also scouted Canucks Zach Kassian. Michael Ryder may be the most interesting solution as he has a history with the Bruins and with David Krejci. Ryder has been a healthy scratch of late and wouldn’t cost the Bruins much.
  • Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area: Sharks Tyler Kennedy has been a healthy scratch the past two games and is a likely candidate to moved by the deadline.

“The trade deadline is always an unsure time,” said Kennedy, who was acquired by the Sharks for a second round pick in the 2013 offseason. “It’s part of hockey. It’s a business. You’ve got to understand that and just go about your business, and if something happens, something happens. But, I’m happy to be here and I like it here.”

  • Dennis Bernstein: The Kings are still interested in Maple Leafs Cody Franson, but they are not interested in the current asking price. Current asking price is hovering around a second round pick.
  • Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun: Leafs GM Dave Nonis has scouted the Preds-Ducks and Lightning-Kings games. The Predators may be interested in Cody Franson, Daniel Winnik and Mike Santorelli. The Kings are looking to add to their hurting blueline. Slava Voynov is still suspended and Alec Martinez was injured on Sunday and could be out for an extended period of time. Cody Franson could be on the Kings radar. The Rangers are among the teams interested in Santorelli. Word is that several teams have inquired about center Tyler Bozak.
  • Mark Divver: Maple Leafs GM Dave Nonis and Coyotes GM Don Maloney were at the Bruins-Canadiens game last night.
  • Jameson Olive: Scouting the Predators and Panthers: Blues and Jets.
  • Jim Matheson: If the Oilers are going to trade Jeff Petry, they have to get a developed younger defenseman and not another draft pick.
  • Jim Matheson: Wonder if the Oilers have called the Rangers about Viktor Fasth. The Oilers could retain some salary.
