Rumors I: Leafs, Kings, Preds, Sens, Rangers, Isles, Hawks and Habs
  • TSN Insider Trading: Dreger: Leafs telling teams to “get your offers ready.”  The Leafs are going to talk with Mike Santorelli to see what it would take to re-sign him. Kessel and Phaneuf are more of offseason moves.

    Putting percentages on Maple Leafs players getting traded: Cody Franson 85%, Daniel Winnik 85%, Korbinian Holzer 75%, Tyler Bozak 60%, Joffrey Lupul 60%, Mike Santorelli 60%, Jake Gardiner 30%, James Reimer 30%, Nazem Kadri 30%, Dion Phaneuf 20% and Phil Kessel 20%LeBrun: The Kings, Red Wings and Predators have interest in Cody Franson. The Canucks have called the Maple Leafs about Mike Santorelli.

    LeBrun: The Senators are getting lots of calls for Chris Neil, but he’s wanting to stay with the Sens.

  • TSN Darren Dreger during 2nd intermission: Predators would be one team interested in Cody Franson, and it’s believed the Predators are also interested in Nazem Kadri.
  • Larry Brooks: Rangers Mats Zuccarello’s agent, Don Meehan: “Haven’t been any substantive discussions with NY regarding extension as of this time…that may change.” Pat Leonard: Rangers coach Alain Vigneault has told management that he’d like Zuccarello to be re-signed, but knows both sides have to find a common ground.
  • John Vogl: Sabres coach Ted Nolan is encouraging players that may be trade candidates to “make it happen” with better play,  “Maybe somebody will see you and want you.”
  • Craig Custance: The Sabres and Red Wings haven’t talked about Tyler Myers in a long-time.
  • The Fourth Period: The Islanders are looking for an offensive top-six forward after they lost Kyle Okposo for about two months. They are thought to have some interest in Chris Stewart and Antoine Vermette.
  • The Fourth Period: The Blackhawks are looking to add depth to their bottom-six by the trade deadline. They are looking for a two-way forward and could look at Maple Leafs Mike Santorelli, Daniel Winnik and Senators Chris Neil.
  • The Fourth Period: Two sources saying that the Canadiens and Coyotes have talked, with the Canadiens interested in Antoine Vermette and possibly Keith Yandle and Zbynek Michalek. They have talked about Yandle in the past. The Coyotes are asking for a top prospect and a high draft pick for Vermette, a second round pick for Michalek and a young roster player, prospect and draft pick for Yandle.
