Steve Zipay: The Rangers have traded forward Andrew Yogan and defenseman Steven Kampfer to the Florida Panthers for forward Joey Crabb. The trade frees up a contract spot for the Rangers, allowing them to keep Anthony Duclair with the team.
The 31-year old Crabb was drafted 226th overall in the seventh round of the 2002 draft by the Rangers. He carries a $600,000 cap hit.
The 22-year old Yogan was drafted 100th overall in the fourth round of the 2010 draft by the Rangers.
The 26-year old Kampfer was drafted 93rd overall in the fourth round of the 2007 draft by the Ducks.
