The St. Louis Blues have traded 26-year old right winger Matt D’Agostini and a conditional 2015 7th round pick to the New Jersey Devils for a conditional 2015 4th or 5th round pick.
Tom Gulitti via twitter: The Devils qualify or re-sign D’Agostini, the Blues will get the 4th round pick and retain their 7th. If the Devils don’t qualify or re-sign D’Agostini, they’ll get the 7th round pick and the Blues will get the 5th round pick.
D’Agostini has appeared in 16 games for the Blues this season, recording a goal and an assist.
D’Agostini was originally drafted by the Canadiens in 2005, 190th overall in the 6th round.
He carries a $1.65 million salary cap hit.
