On the New Jersey Devils …
- Tom Gulitti of the Record: Patrik Elias (knee) watched another practice yesterday and is unsure if he’ll be able to get into another game this season. Elias had surgery back on January 12th. Mike Cammalleri has been out since January 26th with a right hand/wrist injury. Time is running on out on both if they’ll be able to play again this season.
“Neither guy is close to being able to practice,” Devils coach John Hynes said. “They’re still going through their skating. They’re doing their off-ice workouts. Michael hasn’t progressed enough to really make significant strides and the same thing with Patrik. I think they’re both touch and go with what they can do right now.”
Cammalleri is still not able to hold on to a stick.
